Three favs

Lately I've been hung up on cool jackets, and I thought it would be fun to show you guys (I know I have like 1 follower, but still) my five favs! I really enjoy posts like this myself, and since I'm totally and completely in love with my favs I wanted to share them and the story behind them with you. Here we go!

Studded denim jacket from The Ragged Priest here

The first time I saw this jacket I was just scrolling down Annette Haga's blog looking at her outfits. When I saw this piece of perfection I just had to buy it, it was love at first sight. At first I wanted to click it home, but since I was going to London anyway in August I managed to wait. When I got to Topshop I couldn't find it anywhere, but after probably 30 minutes of wandering and looking I finally found it! It's probably my #1 jacket, and it will be for a long time.

Warming Coat from Vila here

Lately I've been addicted to jackets and sweaters with fabric and texture like this jacket. I like to call it my teddy bear jacket, and it goes so well with black jeans, pistol shoes and a wine red beanie. I bought this on nelly.com, and it wasn't a purchase as well "planned" as the one above but I'm still very happy with it.

Filippa Jacket from Monki here
I found this by accident on Saturday when I managed to trip over a carpet on Monki, and I don't regret almost falling on my face. You probably get that I love teddy bear jackets by now, huh? It's supersoft, warm (it doesn't look like it is, I was surprised by this) and so cool! Today I wore this with my lime green beanie and I'm already planning on wearing it tomorrow aswell.

Which jacket did you like the most?

Unproportional

The summer of 2008 was the year I pierced my ears with my own hands plus of course a needle. People who know me still wonder what went through my head when I did this since I'm terrified of sharp objects, especially injections. I didn't even know what I was doing, it was very spontaneous and painful. I actually almost fainted while I was standing in front of the mirror sticking that thick sucker through my earlobe. As you can see (or can you see it?) the hole I made is very... unproportional. That's why I like to wear earcuffs - I feel like it's balancing my ears. Okay wow, this was a silly post. Think I'll just tie my hands and let you analyze my earlobe on the pic underneath.

I need some space

Every summer me, my mom, my dad and my sheltie Tim Curry leave the city of Oslo to a place more quiet and peaceful. It takes about 5 hours to our cottage, and there we have no electricity what so ever, no toilets inside the house, no water and no mobile phone reception. Ergo it's a very nice place to get away and get some thinking done. In addition to sort and process my thoughts, I take a lot of pictures when we're there, and here are some of them.

With a tender touch

Even more pictures from my shoot with Sabrina in August. This girl is so photogenic and a dream to work with! Let me know what you think of these pics in the comment section.

Texture

It's something about the abstractness of texture that intrigues me. It's probably the way it's so unpredictable and beautiful at the same time.

Today I got home early from school and I'm now ready for 50 minutes of swetting. To workout feels so good, especially since I've been really lazy lately. I need to step it up and suck it up, and get those abs working!

Levitating

I realize now that I forgot to edit some shadow in the levitation pics, but I think they're kind of cool without it too. We struggled so much to make it work, and my model Katrine really hurt her back. But they turned out good after all, don't you think?

The middle picture is the one I'm not that happy with, I had to crop some of her toe because of a disturbance in the picture I wasn't able to remove. If you want me to show you how to do this, just write it in the comment section and I will make a post showing you it!

Days

This is how most of my days are like: sitting in front of Lana Del Rey (my macbook) writing, editing, working and exploring the world wide web. My bed is my sanctuary, it's my thinking zone and my relaxing space. The lights behind me are from a store called "Kremmerhuset", and they just make the whole atmosphere here so romantic and cozy. No need for a big room, I just need my bed!
